Book Tours.

Many authors have the drive to get out there and promote their books, to do signings and get out in the public eye, but do not have the resources. That is where Twilight Industries comes in. With over two years experience booking signing tours, both large and small for the romance community,  we have the know how and the ability to get the job done right. Very few firms cater to the romance industry, so as a romance author you can be sure that your work will be set and promoted the correct way, to the places that want romance writers.

*please note: Twilight Industries also does tours for Mystery, horror, YA and suspense, along with general fiction. we do not do non fiction.*

We schedule signings/ tours with these stores:
  • Borders
  • Barnes and Noble
  • Books-a-Million
  • Hastings
  • indie booksellers
  • venues that book readings and specialty signings (specialty stores, cafe's and coffee shops)

*Tours are booked no later then 3 months before the first date of the tour is set to start. Anything put on a rush is an extra 50$ a date.*

Packages: Each package is tailored to fit each authors needs. Authors will chose the dates and places *general* they wish to tour, and TI will get dates to fit the authors hopes for the tour. Packages are as follows:

Up to three books promoted for the tour:

3 Dates: $75
5 Dates: $100
8 Dates: $150
10 Dates: $200
12 dates: $250

Larger tours and larger # of books  can be negotiated upon request.

Price for the packages includes: Administrative (pdf design and compiling, contacting the stores and follow ups), date bookings, and dealing with the book issues (if any). Dates will also appear under the Twilight Industries Book tour publicist banner on Book Tour, and we will send you a Code to use on your website, Myspace and face book to promote your dates.

Authors must provide for Each book wanted for the tour:
  • Cover Photo (1500x2400 pixels, 300 dpi)
  • Media (tip) sheet with correct information
  • Reviews for book, etc.
  • Genre *Please note: Major bookstores are not quick to jump to book GLBT books for signings if they don’t already carry the work. *
  • Types of stores (if you want to work strictly with Majors or Indie's or if you are looking to set up a reading tour of venues, we need to know)
  • Dates/ States for signing tour.

Extra services are available for a nominal fee.

Ala- Carte Services:

Online PR: $50
  • Press release *which we do* posted on 6 sites once a month before the signing tour starts (so at least three posts each place)

Online Tour Listing: $75
  • Myspace: (Event set up and listing on the Twilight Industries myspace calendar)
  • Goodreads (in the Events section, as well as on several groups that cater to your genres)
  • Your publisher's yahoo groups *where applicable*
  • Your publishers Forum *where applicable*
  • Essence of Romance Forum
  • Coffee Time Romance Forum

Promotional Design Package: $200 includes:
  • poster/online ad design, in 4 sizes
  • 100 postcards (divided up between the stores)
  • 25 posters (divided up between stores)
  • 50 mailer cards (either sent to the stores or mailed out to a select snail mail list, mailing to list another $25)
**the price of the package includes the mailing of the promo packages to the stores atleast one month before the signing for each store*
